Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you cry alone. How true! I've just been watching some youtube blogs of young gay people, Davey Wavey and others, who are out there doing things, saying things to try to make this world a better place. And what do I do, this old gay man? I sit at home and cry and write about what I should be doing! Get your arse off this chair and get out there!

Salzburg

What a beautiful day once again. Luck, for once has been on my side as the weather has really been wonderful these 10 days. Sitting here in the Afro Café, where people are eating their breakfasts around me and I listen to the inevitable sirens you hear in big town, things seem to be good.

This photo is not of Salzburg. While walking down the Danube in Budapest I came across these shoes and remembered a story I had heard in the Synagogue earlier about some members of the Jewery being thrown into the river. This was a very moving sculpture.
